About Us

CenturyFirst Federal Credit Union (CFFCU) is a full service not-for-profit financial institution that is owned by the members it serves. We are dedicated to providing a wide variety of services, all with competitive rates and fees for the members we serve. We have a large group of sponsors that includes not only The University of Southern Mississippi, but many other organizations as well. Please see the Sponsor page for a listing of the current field of membership. Employees of the sponsors, both current and former students of USM and immediate family members of a member of the Credit Union are eligible to join CFFCU.

Through our shared branching network, we offer our members access to over 55 branches in Mississippi and over 4,900 branches nationwide. In addition, we are members of the CU 24 ATM Network which offers members access to more than 300,000 ATM terminals located throughout all 50 states and multiple international locations with over 70,00 surcharge-free ATMs in the Credit Union 24 CU HERE program.

Our credit union members can pay for purchases with their free debit cards at hundreds of thousands of locations, including most major national retailers and local merchants. We offer online banking, online electronic bill payments and Teller Phone 24 Audio Response which allows you to check your balance or transfer funds all as a free service to our members.

Your lifetime membership in the Credit Union begins with opening a share account and maintaining a balance of $25. CFFCU is regulated by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), and deposits are insured
